Catherine Pinhas

Catherine Pinhas Mulcair (born September 27, 1955〔(Genealogie Thomas Mulcair ) Nosorigines〕) is a Canadian psychologist based in Quebec. She is the wife of former Canadian Opposition leader Thomas Mulcair. After Mulcair became the leader of the Official Opposition in 2012, Pinhas began using the name Catherine P. Mulcair instead of Catherine Pinhas, which she previously preferred.

She was born in France to a Sephardic Jewish family of Turkish origin that had survived the Holocaust.〔
